Max Wanger's Print Shop

We can’t get enough of our partner Max Wanger. Luckily, we don’t have to and neither do you. If you missed last month’s framed print sweepstakes, April is giving us and a few VIP bloggers another opportunity to showcase his work.

So what is it about Max that makes his work so special? Each of his photographs delivers you directly to a place you’d rather be. Max's talent for transport is a personal reflection of his inspiration.

“I find a lot of my inspiration through our travels. Also, books, films, museums, magazines, and our little boy, Dash.”

Imagination has fueled Max from an early age. He constructed his first camera out of paper and scotch tape at just seven years old. And this was before DIY was a thing. Now, since opening his print shop from Los Angeles with his wonderful wife and business partner Margaux, his world renowned photos have been finding their way into beautiful spaces across the globe. To help give you inspiration on just how to achieve domestic zen, we teamed up with Max and few of our favorite design bloggers to put their unique touches on Max Wanger's framed prints in their stylish spaces. You'll find ideas in their fabulous vignettes below. Get excited!

Max's eye for beauty in the unexpected is one of the most impressive elements of his photographs; and with prints starting at just $25, he makes it easy to affordably elevate your space. Max offers his prints from size 8x10 to 30x45 and you can preview your print with custom framing in his print shop. Choose to frame with or without a mat, and pair with our white gallery frame or natural wood gallery frame.

His commercial, portrait and fine art work feature timeless visualizations of fun. Even his iPhone snapshots make the world feel brighter. Max Wanger has the natural ability to capture a lifestyle we'd love to dive into -- literally.

All journeys have a starting point. Recently, Max shared his beautiful beginning with us:

“Taking photographs has always been one of my outlets. From an early age, I felt like I could disappear behind the lens and observe the world. I’d imagine no one else was seeing what I was seeing. My photography career was built somewhat out of necessity but mostly out of the need to do what made me happy.”

We are so excited to take this trip and see the sights with him. Following the heart and embracing life decisions that bring genuine joy are mantras we can always stand behind. Thank you for the ride, Max!
