2016 Pantone Color of the Year

2015 has been a very eventful year, so we can't say we're surprised to see that the powers that be over at Pantone have selected some soothing colors to get us through 2016. We're seeing these colors trickle down through fashion and design and help shape upcoming trends. You may have already heard that rose quartz and serenity (a.k.a. a pretty light pink and a soothing light blue) are the colors of 2016. As we transition into the new year we're already noticing a wide acceptance of these colors in art and design. Here are a few gorgeous examples of art and interior design which feature these calming colors.
