 How to Design & Order

Our Frame Designer tool takes the guesswork out of custom framing, making it easy to visualize, tweak, and perfect your design before you order. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to framing, you'll get real-time previews and customization options—so you can confidently create the perfect frame for your artwork.

Upload your artwork and select a frame style.

Start by uploading your digital file for printing or choose a frame style if you already have a piece to frame. Our curated selection of wood and metal mouldings makes it easy to find the perfect fit.

Adjust size, matting, and other preferences.

Customize your frame’s dimensions, add a mat, select mounting method, paper type, and the hardware that best suit your project. Every detail is designed to enhance and protect your piece.

View real-time mockups and save your designs

Instantly preview your framed artwork to ensure it looks exactly how you want it. You can save designs for future projects by selecting "Favorite" and download high-res PNG files of your masterpiece.

Add your frame to the cart and check out!

Once everything looks perfect, simply add your frame to the cart and complete your order. We’ll handle the rest and deliver your custom frame directly to your clients.

Saving & Reordering

  • Save Favorites

    Want to save your customized frame or print for later? Simply click "Favorite" in the Designer, give it a name (like Gallery White 16x20), and hit Apply—your frame will be saved under your account whenever you need it.

    Need to reorder a past design? Easily duplicate a previous order by selecting it from your order history, adding it to your cart, and choosing a saved shipping address at checkout—no need to start from scratch!

Shipping & Delivery

We offer flat-rate shipping on all frames and prints to ensure predictable costs and reliable delivery speeds across the U.S. Our streamlined shipping practices help maintain efficiency and consistency, whether you’re ordering a single frame or a bulk shipment.

Domestic & International Shipping

Where We Ship

We offer flat-rate shipping across the contiguous U.S., with dynamic rates for Hawaii, Alaska, and international destinations.

International Orders

We can ship prints and frames up to 30x40” internationally. However, Simply Framed does not provide replacements for lost or damaged international shipments. Duties and taxes are billed to the recipient.

PO Boxes

Due to the size of our shipments, we cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Shipping Methods & Carriers

Frames

Shipped via FedEx Ground or GLS for Print & Frame, Mail-In, and Frame-Only orders starting at $21 and varying by size. See frame shipping rates here →

Prints

Sent via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground based on size. Prints below 11 x 14" are flat packed, larger pieces are rolled in tubes. Rates begin at $9 for USPS and $12 for FedEx. See print shipping rates here →

Oversized (36x48”+) and Bulk Orders

Handled by FedEx Freight Direct, with pricing starting at $450. Read more here →

Packaging, Insurance & Multi-Address Delivery

Secure Packaging

All frames are professionally packed in custom built boxes to ensure safe transit.

Shipping Insurance

Orders shipped with a Simply Framed label include $100 of insurance through our carriers, with an option to upgrade up to $1,000 for mail-in orders.

Multi-Address Shipping

Easily ship to multiple locations by assigning different addresses to each item at checkout.

  • Shipping Damage Policy

    If your order arrives damaged, email hello@simplyframed.com within 14 days with your order number and photos of the damage. We’ll send a replacement at no cost—refunds are not available for damaged or lost orders. Damage Policy →

  • Return & Cancellations

    Orders for Print & Frame, Frame Only, and Print Only cannot be canceled or edited once placed. Mail-in orders can be canceled before your artwork ships to us for a refund (minus any mail-in material costs). Read more here →

  • Turnaround Times

    Orders ship in 3-12 business days (Core Collection), 3-4 weeks (Plexibox), and 4-6 weeks (Black Label). Mail-in orders follow the same timeline after artwork is checked in. More details on turnaround times here →
